Igor Montenegro, cearense de 21 anos que compõe e canta em inglês, é uma grande aposta da nova cena musical

O cantor lançou na última sexta-feira (19) seu novo single chamado Serious, quejá está disponível em todas as plataformas digitais.

Ele é um artista fora da curva. Cearense, Igor Montenegro tem apenas 21 anos de idade, mas já se mostra um artista completo. Além de cantar e compor – em inglês, diga-se de passagem – também toca violão, guitarra e baixo. Na última sexta-feira, 19, lançou em todas as plataformas digitais, seu novo single intitulado Serious.

Uma vibe dançante, letra chiclete e batidas eletrônicas, Serious conta a relação de um casal que, apesar de se gostar muito, tem um lance conturbado e não assume um relacionamento sério. Até que um dos personagens toma uma decisão e faz uma proposta: “Vamos nos levar a sério? Baby, vamos ficar sérios.” (traduzido).

Com a produção musical de Cláudio Mendes, o hit foi gravado em Fortaleza, no estúdio Magnólia e masterizada nos Estados Unidos. A capa do single retrata a letra da música, e traz Igor Montenegro vestindo terno e segurando nas mãos flores e um balão de coração.

Serious é uma composição antiga de Igor Montenegro, mas que ainda não havia saído do papel. “Escrevi essa canção há muito tempo. Resolvi leva-la ao Cláudio Mendes e ele transformou a música em algo que eu não estava esperando, mas que gostei muito, pois leva a um estilo que eu tenho escutado bastante”, afirma Igor.

Vocalista da banda The Mob, Igor aposta também na carreira solo. Serious faz parte do projeto paralelo e independente do cantor. Sua maior inspiração na música é Ed Sheeran, mas o músico traz também em seu repertório canções de John Mayer e da banda inglesa McFly.
